Dear Friends:

We invite you to participate in the NYC/CUNY Citizenship Corps. The Corps is an initiative of the CUNY Citizenship and Immigration Project in conjunction with the New York City Mayor’s Office of Immigration Affairs and the Department of Youth and Community Development. It was created to recruit and train volunteers to provide free naturalization application assistance at events held throughout New York City. The Citizenship Corps and its volunteers play a key role in our helping over 5000 immigrants each year.

By participating in Corps Citizenship events, you will make a contribution to society and empower New York City’s immigrant communities. You will assist eligible legal permanent residents with their applications for naturalization at no charge.

The CUNY Citizenship and Immigration Project counts on the Corps volunteers to help us grow and continue to assist more immigrants every year. If you would like to volunteer, please visit the registration page to express your interest in volunteering. We look forward to your participation in the Citizenship Corps.
