Kingsborough Community College is situated in the Manhattan Beach section of Brooklyn; its magnificent 70-acre campus overlooks three bodies of water-Sheepshead Bay, Jamaica Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean. Kingsborough has excellent facilities one of which is its own beach with lifeguard chair, including a media and computer center, an accredited early learning child development center, an educational FM radio station, The Leon M. Goldstein Performing Arts Center with a 743-seat theater and a 300-seat Playhouse Theater, a 1,600 square foot Art Gallery, an Olympic-size swimming pool, a private beach, a Fitness Center, the Robert J. Kibbee Library and the Media Center.
