Spotlight on Queens College

The 2008 Summer Film Festival at Queens College focuses on films from the 30’s through the 80’s which feature New York City as a site location or as an actual character. Weekly showtimes begin July 1st and run through August 5th.

Spotlight on John Jay College of Criminal Justice

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Program prepares students for careers with the New York City Fire Department, Hospitals, Ambulance Corps, and related organizations. This program includes a range of New York State and National Certifications, along with 16 hours of clinical training.

The E-Business: Design and Development Certificate offers professionals tools to create an online business. Courses cover web site development, database management, internet security concerns, online technology applications, and marketing.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation prepares individuals for national certification in CPR and is taught by certified instructors. The Basic First Aid course offers information and skills necessary to practice first aid.
