The goal of CUNY’s Integrating Mathematics Across the Curriculum (IMAC) project is to promote an appreciation for the multiple ways that we rely on and use mathematics. It advances the belief in the widespread utility of mathematics and encourages a positive, confident approach. Facility with mathematics is essential both for students’ success within the University and beyond, in our increasingly technologically advanced global society. IMAC thus engages both CUNY faculty and staff across the disciplines as collaborators in building students’ skills and confidence.
