Instructions for filing your CUNY Financial Aid Supplement Form

In addition to filing your FAFSA and TAP applications, you need to complete the CUNY Financial Aid Supplement Form. The supplement can be completed online and has six questions.

The form provides the Financial Aid Office at your CUNY college with additional information that you have not provided on your FAFSA. It will be used primarily for APTS (part-time aid), student expense budget adjustments, summer work-study, and to identify whether you graduated from a high school outside the United States. Completing this Supplement may qualify you for additional financial aid.

To complete the Financial Aid Supplement online, you need to follow the steps listed as follows:

Go to the CUNY website at www.cuny.edu
Click on the ‘Log-in' button on the left side of the screen to either sign-on or register for access
Once you have signed on, click on ‘CUNY's Online Center for Admissions and Financial Aid' under the heading 'Apply Online'. This option is on the right side of the body of the screen and you may need to page down to see it.
Select the ‘CUNY Supplement' option on the left sidebar
Select the year for the Supplement you wish to file, then click 'Next'
If you have not filed a CUNY Supplement and you are eligible to do so, click on the 'CUNY Supplement' link on the last line of the paragraph
After completing the form, click 'Submit', you will then get a message that your CUNY supplement has been submitted

Click on ‘Log-in’ on the bottom left sidebar on the CUNY website at www.cuny.edu . Click on ‘Forgot Your Password?’ and enter your username, then click ‘E-mail Password’, your password will be sent to your registered email address.
