Last fall, the latest software release was installed in CUNY+. With this release, remote users (i.e., those not in the library) must enter the code LNAV to bring up the bibliographic and periodical and newspaper index databases. This new command stands for Library NAVigator. This software allows CUNY+ to link to other databases and resources on remote machines (for example, as of this winter Baruch College and Brooklyn College are linking to a database at SUNY Binghamton). Users are able to search these resources with the same commands and screen displays that are used in CUNY+.
Also last fall, the holdings of the CUNY Law School (CL) and the Centro de Estudios Puertorriquenos (CP) were loaded into CUNY+. With these additions the holdings of all twenty library units in CUNY are available online. Need help dialing into CUNY+? Ask at the reference desk in your library for the Dial Access Quick Guide.
