Once you have submitted an Admission Application to CUNY, please visit the After You Apply page to find out what is needed to complete your admission review. Be sure to review deadlines, notification dates and the type of admission decision you should expect as a CUNY applicant.

Remember that it is your responsibility to check your application status to ensure that we have received all required documents in support of your application. Please allow 8-10 weeks for the status of your application to be updated.

CUNY Open House

CUNY colleges welcome prospective students to their campuses throughout New York City in a series of Open House events.

First-time students and transfer students can tour the campuses with their families, meet faculty and have their questions answered. Details about financial aid packages and scholarships are also available at each college site. Click here to view a listing of upcoming open houses.

Beginning September 12th, we will be shipping our updated Counselor Packets! These packets include: the Counselor Binders which include the following: 2012 Freshman and Transfer Admission profiles, Discover CUNY Brochure, University Viewbook, Paying for College Brochure, and Student Life Brochure; a sample of the Freshman Application Packet; and The Fall Counselor Newsletter. Be on the lookout for all this exciting information!

2013 Fee Waivers

Fee Waivers for the Fall 2013 will be mailed to your High School Principle beginning September 19th, 2012. Remember, the amount of waivers that your school will receive is based on historical allotments and current supply. Please note that we cannot accommodate all of your students with need, as CUNY Fee Waivers are very limited. Therefore, please distribute them to General Freshman or Macaulay Honors College applicants from your school with the most financial need. Also, we only accept CUNY Fee Waivers. We do not accept application fee waivers distributed by the College Board or any other organization.
