In this presentation, we will describe an optical power aggregation technique for visible light applications such as illumination, displays and signage. First, we will discuss several coherent and incoherent beam combining techniques and present their advantages and disadvantages. Then, we will focus on the scalable, pay as you grow fiber-optic based system that can be used in these high color saturation, high contrast applications.
