Business conditions significantly improved for manufacturers in New York for the third consecutive month, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s analysis of the July 2014 Empire State Manufacturing Survey.
The general business index reached a four-year high with 41% survey respondents reporting that business conditions improved in the past month. The new orders index and shipments index increased to their highest levels since 2010.
