All of us at The City University of New York were saddened to learn of the devastating effects of Sunday’s powerful earthquake in Turkey. On behalf of CUNY, I offer deepest condolences to the residents of eastern Turkey, as well as the CUNY students, faculty, staff, and alumni who trace their ancestry to Turkey and may have family members, friends, and colleagues in the affected areas.
