The University’s 2015 – 2016 Employee Holiday Calendar is now available for the period of September 1, 2015 through August 31, 2016. It details the holidays, unscheduled holidays, and annual leave periods set by Board policy and/or Union contracts. Check the correct chart or column for your title group as the holiday entitlements are not identical for all tax levy employees.

New Health Plan Rates Effective July 2015

The New York City Health Benefits Program recently updated the health plan rates as of July 2015. The rate changes will become effective the first full pay period of July 2015 and will be reflected on the July 23, 2015 paycheck for Central Office tax-levy employees.

Beach Bash – “Dare to be Great” – August 14 at KBCC

Most Central Office departments have opted to participate in the University’s Summer Four-Day Workweek Plan that will be effective Monday, June 22, 2015 through Friday, August 7, 2015. Hence, Friday June 26 and August 9 will be the respective first and last Fridays off.

Meet Dr. Vita Carulli Rabinowitz

The Board of Trustees of the City University of New York has appointed Dr. Vita Carulli Rabinowitz as Executive Vice Chancellor and University Provost. Dr. Rabinowitz has served as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Hunter College since 2007. Dr. Rabinowitz’s appointment will commence July 1, 2015, succeeding Julia Wrigley who has served as interim in the position since 2014.
