On February 28, 2011, the University’s Board of Trustees adopted an updated Workplace Violence Prevention Policy. The updated policy reinforces the University’s commitment to preventing workplace violence and ensuring a safe and secure work environment.

FY 2010-2011 HEO Performance Evaluations Due May 31

It is time to complete annual performance evaluations for HEO Series staff members for the July 1, 2011 reappointments. University leaders with HEO Series staff members in departments under their purview were notified in February to schedule and conduct performance evaluation conference meetings, and complete the written evaluations.

On-site Retirement Plan Reps Schedule

Representatives from the various retirement plans are scheduled to visit several of our Central Office locations to provide you with on-site individual counseling sessions to answer your retirement plan questions and assist you with meeting your retirement goals.

Commuter Benefits Program Update

Central Office and the Senior Colleges officially transitioned to the new Commuter Benefits Program administered by WageWorks effective February 19, 2011. Employees who were previously enrolled with JPMorgan Chase had their old card deactivated, and received a new card from WageWorks.

Japan Disaster Relief Efforts & Support Services

The combined impact of the recent earthquake in Japan (one of the strongest ever recorded), which was followed by an enormous tsunami, resulted in tremendous damage and loss of life. These tragic events have also caused three nuclear power reactors to malfunction and release deadly radiation into the air.
