Changes made during the 2017 Open Enrollment period last fall have taken effect as of January 4, 2018. Any changes you made to your health and welfare fund benefits should have been reflected on your January 18, 2018 paycheck.

WageWorks Updates and Reminders

Effective January 1, 2018, the monthly pre-tax limit for the WageWorks Transit Commuter Plan and Park-n-Ride increased from $255 to $260.

Update Your Beneficiaries

Current beneficiary designations on file are necessary to ensure that certain University benefits are paid promptly to the person(s) you wish. It is also necessary to contact your retirement and union welfare fund plans directly to verify and update your beneficiaries on those accounts.

New York State Labor Law mandates that all employees complete annual training in workplace violence awareness and prevention. CUNY’s Preventing Workplace Violence online course is sent to all staff via their CUNY email.
