Media Advisory: “CUE” Service Offers CUNY Experts on Terrorism & Its Aftermath

Get fast, authoritative information-from the faculty and staff of The City University of New York and its 20 member colleges and professional schools-on the recent terrorist attacks, America’s response and related long-term domestic and international repercussions.

For members of the print and electronic media, CUNY’s Office of University Relations offers its City University Experts Service, or “CUE” Service, and access to hundreds of scholars and practitioners who are acknowledged leaders in their fields. Many are available for live remote or in-studio interviews. Numerous media have already utilized this service in their crisis coverage.

With the assistance of our member colleges, CUE is offering “America Responds” a roster of more than two dozen faculty who have special expertise in fields related to the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Such areas include:

  • Middle Eastern Affairs and Islam
  • World Trade Center & Structural Engineering
  • Islamic Culture in the U.S.
  • Trauma in the Workplace
  • Financial Markets
