Open Houses at CUNY Colleges This Fall

November 6, 2001 | The University

CUNY colleges will welcome prospective students to their campuses throughout New York City in a series of Open House events this fall.

First-time students and transfer students can tour the campuses with their families, meet faculty and have their questions answered. Details about financial aid packages and scholarships are also available at each college site.

CUNY senior colleges offer 1200 academic programs leading to baccalaureate and master’s degrees. Most hold an Open House for prospective students and their families in November.

Open House at all six community colleges is set for Wednesday, November 14, Thursday, December 13, and Thursday, January 10 from noon to 6 p.m. Community colleges offer affordable, quality education with hundreds of programs that lead to associate degrees or certificates.

Courses are conveniently scheduled during the day, evening and weekend. On-the-spot admission services will be offered. First time students should bring their high school transcript, diploma or GED, and a $40 check or money order. Transfer students should bring all official college transcripts and a $50 check or money order.
