Lehman College to Present Special Jazz Show on May 3

BRONX, N.Y. — The Departments of Mathematics and Music at Lehman College will present a special jazz piano performance, “Math & Music: A Formula for Harmony,” on Thursday, May 3, at 7:30 p.m. in the Lovinger Theatre. Mathematics Professor Robert Schneiderman, Music Professor Peter Vinograde and music major Alan Eicher all will perform. This event is free and open to the public.

Professor Schneiderman will be accompanied by Todd Coolman on bass and Leroy Williams on percussion. Alan Eicher will be accompanied by Edward Perez on bass and Chris Michael on percussion. A reception will follow the performance.

A senior college of the City University of New York, Lehman is located at Goulden Avenue and Bedford Park Boulevard in the northwest Bronx and is accessible by bus as well as the #4 and “D” subway lines. Free attended parking is also available.
