IMMIGRATION UPDATE: What is Washington Up to? At Baruch College’s School of Public Affairs on Tuesday, May 22nd

WHAT: A forum on the Senate’s bi-partisan legislation providing “a pathway to citizenship” for millions of undocumented workers and creating a “guest worker” program. Who benefits and who loses? Which provisions have the best chance of becoming law? Will this legislation “fix” the immigration problem?

WHO: Immigration advocates and policy analysts will offer up-to-the-minute analysis of the politics, policy impact and practicality of current proposals.
