New York, NY, March 14, 2011 – Baruch College’s Executives on Campus Program will host the Mentor for a Morning event on Tuesday, March 15. The event which began in 2009 will provide over 135 Baruch undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to speak with and learn from seasoned executives in their field of interest such as Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Management, Human Resources or Entrepreneurship.
Mentor for a Morning will kick off at 8:00am with a light breakfast and networking followed by the mentoring sessions with over 55 executives from companies including Ernst & Young, KPMG, Signature Bank, Forrest Investments, CitiGroup, PwC, and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, among others. Mentors will meet with one student per each 45 minute session for a total of three mentoring sessions and will share their knowledge, experience and insight into building a successful career with the students.
Currently celebrating its 10th Anniversary, The Baruch College Executives on Campus Program builds meaningful academic and professional relationships between students, faculty, and leaders in the business, nonprofit, and public sectors. Experienced, accessible executives and leaders share their practical, real-world perspective, their ideas and opinions, and their ‘secrets of success’ with students and faculty. Students are provided with a unique opportunity to communicate with successful role models in a small group setting.
