New CUNY School of Public Health at Hunter College faculty member, Associate Professor, Dr. Grace Sembajwe

New CUNY School of Public Health at Hunter College faculty member, Associate Professor, Dr. Grace Sembajwe joins Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Program. Dr. Sembajwe comes to the CUNY School of Public Health at Hunter College from The Harvard School of Public Health where she worked within the Department of Environmental Health/Exposure as a research epidemiologist.

She received her ScD in Epidemiology from the University of Massachusetts Department of Work Environment and her MS degree in Industrial Hygiene from Central Missouri State University. She has worked at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute’s Center for Community-Based Research and is presently Co-Principal Investigator on a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation grant for biomarkers of pain and cardiovascular disease. She is also Principal Investigator for a project examining employee biological monitoring for exposures to antineoplastic drugs, funded by the Massachusetts General Hospital Council for Technology Adoption and Innovative Process.
