BMCC’s Annual Student Research Poster Presentations showcased the talent of more than 25 students, who worked closely with faculty mentors on research projects of personal interest. Each student presented their work in the Richard Harris Terrace, and thanked their mentors for their guidance and support.
Most presenters were active in the BMCC Honors Program, LSAMP (Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), and CSTEP (Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program).
Poster topics ranged from: What Happened in the Beginning of the Universe? to The Effects of Obesity on Asthma.
“Congratulations to you and your mentors for a highly successful event and another year of outstanding research,” announced Dr. Sadie Bragg, Senior Vice President, Academic Affairs, after talking with students about their findings.
