Drs. Steffie Woolhandler and David Himmelstein: Canada’s health costs for seniors rising slowly: Points way to Medicare solvency

CUNY School of Public Health at Hunter College Professors Steffie Woolhandler and David Himmelstein just published a study comparing healthcare cost growth for the over-65 populations in the U.S. v. Canada. The study, entitled “Cost Control in a Parallel Universe” appears in the Archives of Internal Medicine, December 2012, and has already received substantial press coverage.  Here is the press release here:
