Professor Terrie Epstein Wins Fulbright

Terrie Epstein, who serves on the Graduate Center doctoral faculty as professor of urban education, has been awarded a Fulbright Senior Scholar Research Award to conduct research from February through June 2013 at Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand. Her project, titled “How the Past Informs the Present: New Zealand Adolescents’ Perspectives on the Treaty of Waitangi” will examine the influence of young people’s ethnic identities on their interpretations of national history and society.
