BRONX, N.Y. – The 2013 CUNY Athletic Conference/Applebee’s Swimming and Diving Championships has concluded with the Lightning of Lehman taking home the title and finishing the upset over the Baruch Bearcats who were looking for the four-peat. The Lightning racked up 1,0052 points, ahead of Baruch College (1,000 points), Brooklyn (572), College of Staten Island (420), and York College (182). The 52-point margin marks the slimmest in CUNYAC history. The three-day Championship meet took place at the APEX at Lehman College, one of only two Olympic size swimming pools in the five boroughs.
