March 20 event offers nonprofit professionals free consulting sessions and networking opportunities
NEW YORK, NY – March 6, 2013 – Baruch College’s School of Public Affairs and its Center for Nonprofit Strategy and Management will host its annual Consulting Day for New York City’s Nonprofit Community on Wednesday, March 20.
The all-day event gives New Yorkers the opportunity to attend workshops, meet with consultants to discuss challenges in their company, receive a complimentary one-on-one session and network with more than 100 nonprofit organizations.
Workshops such as Social Enterprise: Strategies for Taking Advantage of Underutilized Assets and Developing Unrestricted Cash Flow, and Advanced Social Media Training: They Like Me, Now What, will be offered.
The following are some of the consulting topics that will be covered throughout the day: entrepreneurship and social enterprise, capacity building, fundraising, executive coaching, budget and accounting, human resources, volunteer management, and many others.
