Laura Bruno Is New Director of Enrollment Management; Robert Park Appointed Director of Advisement

Laura Bruno has been appointed Director of Enrollment Management in the Office of Admissions and Recruitment at Queensborough Community College. Prior to joining QCC, Bruno served as Associate Director of Admissions at York College where she was responsible for designing and implementing the overall strategic enrollment plan, and served as the Admission functional and training lead for CUNYfirst.

Bruno holds a bachelor’s degree from New York University in psychology and a master’s degree in social work fromAdelphi University. Bruno began her higher education career in admissions at the New School for Social Researchwhere she served as Director of Admissions.

Robert Park has been named Director of Academic Advisement.  With more than 25 years of experience in higher education, Park most recently served as the Director of Student & Academic Services at Hunter College’s School of Public Health. Robert also served in similar positions at LaGuardia Community CollegeNew York UniversityDeVry College, and the Sanford-Brown Institute.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, Park earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan and earned a master’s degree in education with a counseling specialization from Eastern Michigan University.
