NEW YORK, NY – March 26, 2013 – The Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity at Baruch College will host the 12th Annual Financial Reporting Conference for accounting, business and media professionals. The day-long event will enable professionals to interact with policy setters from the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and Financial Accounting Standards Board. It is scheduled Thursday, May 2, from 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., in the Newman Vertical Campus, Room 14-220, located at 55 Lexington Avenue.
Speakers include SEC Chief Accountant Paul Beswick, FASB Chair Leslie Seidman, and PCAOB Board Member Jay Hanson, who will deliver the keynote address. Other professionals will discuss critical financial issues including revenue recognition, leases and financial instruments, current developments at the SEC and in the private sector and GAAP for non-public companies.
