York Honors Hank Sheinkopf at Benefit Featuring Eddie Palmieri Orchestra

On Monday, April 15, the York College Foundation will host its 6th Annual Scholarship Benefit Concert at the college’s Performing Arts Center.

This year’s honoree is the venerable Hank Sheinkopf, president of Sheinkopf Communication, Ltd., and a proud member of the York College Class of 1973. His career thus far has spanned 700 campaigns in 44 American states and 15 foreign nations on 4 continents. His client roster has included major corporations and figures as prominent as President Bill Clinton and Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

The proceeds of this year’s concert will create a named scholarship for Mr. Sheinkopf to benefit students such as he was when he enrolled at York in the fall of 1967 – a bright student of modest means, who was the first in his family to go to college.

“Without a York College there would not have been a Hank Sheinkopf,” he has said.

The 7:30 pm event will feature nine-time Grammy Award winner and 2013 NEA Jazz Master, Eddie Palmieri and his Salsa Orchestra. There will also be a raffle drawing with prizes including two round-trip first-class tickets to Europe.
