Lehman Woodwind Quintet to Give Free Concert April 14

BRONX, N.Y.—The Lehman College Woodwind Quintet will give a concert, entitled “Divertessement for a Spring Afternoon” on Sunday, April 14, at 2 p.m. in the Music Building’s Recital Hall. This event is free and open to the community.

woodwind-careDirected by Lehman Music Professor and oboist Alan Hollander, the ensemble will perform works by Dahl, Handel, Reicha, Ravel, and Arnold, written for flute, oboe, clarinet, French horn, and bassoon.

A senior college of the City University of New York, Lehman is located at Goulden Avenue and Bedford Park Boulevard in the northwest Bronx and is accessible by bus as well as the #4 and “D” subway lines.  Parking is available for a $5 fee.
