NEW YORK, NY – July 25, 2013 – Baruch College was once again included in Forbes magazine’s just-released annual listing of “America’s Top Colleges 2013.” Baruch is ranked #280, up 71 spots from #351 last year. Baruch was also ranked #105 among the top colleges in the Northeast.
Forbes partnered with the Washington, D.C.-based Center for College Affordability and Productivity to evaluate 650 colleges that award undergraduate degrees or certificates requiring “4 or more years.” Each of the colleges must be classified by The Carnegie Foundation as Doctorate – granting Universities, Master’s Colleges and Universities, or Baccalaureate Colleges. Forbes compiled the rankings for the “America’s Top Colleges” list based on five general categories, taking into consideration: quality of teaching and student satisfaction, post graduate success, high graduation rates, low-levels of debt and the academic success of its students.
