NEW YORK, NY – November 12, 2013 – The Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity at Baruch College invites business and academic professionals to hear from accounting policy setters during the 8th Annual Audit Conference, “Ensuring Integrity” on December 5. The event is co-sponsored by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy’s (NASBA) Center for the Public Trust.
Arnold Schilder, Chairman of the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board, will give the keynote address. Executives from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) will focus on best practices of ethics and independence within the auditing profession. They will also address other industry topics related to each of the organizations, including enhancing the auditor’s reporting model, audit quality indicators, internal control, and liability hot buttons for 2014.
