Medgar Student Accepted to Doctoral Program

The Medgar Evers College (MEC) community extends congratulations to senior Mawia Khogali on her acceptance into the Psychology and Law Training Area in the Psychology Doctoral Program at the CUNY Graduate Center!  This highly competitive program will prepare Mawia to be an “academician and applied researcher who can provide professional psychological expertise to and within the criminal and civil justice systems, and offer training in applied work such as evaluation research and policy development”.  She is guaranteed five years of funding, which includes but is not limited to, a $25,000 annual stipend and full tuition support.  Again, please join us in congratulating Mawia on her acceptance into the Psychology Doctoral Program and wishing her well in her scholarly pursuit.
