Favorites such as One Bad Apple, Double Lovin’, Crazy Horses and You Look Like the One I Love will fill the house when The Osmond Brothers take the stage at the Queensborough Performing Arts Center (QPAC) on Sunday, April 27 at 3:00 p.m.
Their famous voices have created albums on a par with such legendary performing artists as The Beatles and Elvis. Their songs stretch the gamut of musical genres, and include everything from jazz, rock, and pop, to country and bluegrass. And now, the brothers continue that tradition of record-breaking performances as they dazzle their fans on their ‘Up Close and Personal Tour.’
“Whether you love jazz, barbershop, rock, country or pop, the “Brothers” present a knock-out performance of Osmond talent at its finest,” said Susan Agin, Executive and Artistic Director of QPAC.
Experience “Osmondmania” and see in person the group that started singing barbershop music as children and swiftly became teen-music idols.
Don’t let the high cost of shows in Manhattan plus the added expense of parking your car stop you from seeing quality entertainment. QPAC’s excellent location, diverse schedule of events, reasonable ticket prices, free parking, beautiful theatre, infrared listening devices and exceptional service make it an excellent choice for a memorable outing.
Distinguished artists who have performed throughout the decades at QPAC include jazz legend Thelonius Monk; renowned dance choreographer Merce Cunningham; 60’s folksinger Judy Collins; and more recently Dionne Warwick, Joan Rivers, Joel Grey, Robert Klein, Ben Vereen, Wayne Newton, Chita Rivera, Mandy Patinkin, Norm Lewis, Rob Schneider, Tommy Tune and Michael Bolton.
