Honor yourself in Body, Mind and Spirit! Medgar Evers College (MEC) is pleased to host its Inaugural Community Health and Wellness Fair. The fair will be a unique opportunity for the College to provide health and wellness services to residents while increasing visibility of the support services, academic offerings and co-curricular programs available to all who come to pursue their studies at MEC.
With over 65 participating health service providers and vendors represented, attendees will benefit from free early detection and preventative health screenings and educational opportunities such as:
Screenings and measurements:
- Blood Pressure
- Body Mass Index (BMI)
- Wellness Counseling
- Hair Health
- Health Care Insurance
Other activities and opportunities:
- HIV Testing
- Sports Clinic (with parental consent)
Additionally, there will be a cookout for participants with healthy food options. Join MEC for an afternoon of information and fun!
