On April 23, 2014, CUNY School of Law presented “Diversity & Inclusion: Opportunities and Challenges in the Age of Globalization” featuring Brown University Professor Evelyn Hu-Dehart.
The program marked the inauguration of the school’s Abraham & Rachel Slatkin-Belsky Distinguished Lecture Series.
Following a presentation by Dr. Hu-Dehart, Michelle Anderson, Dean and Professor at CUNY School of Law, moderated the conversation including Dr. Hu-Dehart, Victor Goode, Professor at CUNY School of Law, and Jennifer Rubain, University Dean for Recruitment and Diversity at CUNY. The panel discussion explored the legal and social aspects of affirmative action, how it has evolved over time, and how best to conceptualize the work of equality in the future.
