NEW YORK, NY-August 26, 2014 – The Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity at Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Businessand The Sustainability Practice Network will host a panel discussion on September 3 on corporate sustainability. A recent Global Survey from McKinsey and Company showed that many companies view sustainability as a priority, but are failing to incorporate it into core business practices, services and products.
Panelists, including Michael Deane, Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer, Turner Construction; Su Gao, Senior ESG Analyst, Bloomberg LLP; Davida Heller, Assistant Vice President, Corporate Sustainability, Citi; and Lorraine Smith, Senior Director, SustainAbility, will discuss how businesses can incorporate sustainability and enhance their environmental, social and economic performance. They will also address the impact of ESG metrics and the pressures from Wall Street to deliver immediate financial results at the expense of longer term prosperity. The discussion will be moderated by Max Driscoll, Director of Sustainability, Croxton Collaborative Architects.
