Baruch College Hosts “Ensuring Integrity,” 9th Annual Audit Conference

NEW YORK, NY- November 24, 2014 – The Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity at Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business is bringing together business and public accounting professionals, academics and policy setters for the 9th Annual Audit Conference on December 4, entitled “Ensuring Integrity.”

Professionals from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) will examine the current best practices of ethics and independence within the auditing profession. The conference is organized in partnership with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy’s (NASBA) Center for the Public Trust.

Panel discussions will include the latest happenings in these organizations, PCAOB inspections, enhancing the auditor’s communication with investors and the audit committee, and litigation against auditors. Sir David Tweedie, Past Chair, International Accounting Standards Board, will give the keynote address.
