Baruch College to Honor Ronald Perelman for Business and Civic Leadership

NEW YORK, NY- April 11, 2016- Friends, colleagues and alumni of Baruch College will pay tribute to Ronald Perelman, Chairman and CEO of MacAndrews & Forbes Incorporated and one of the most renowned business leaders of our time. Mr. Perelman will receive the Bernard Baruch Award for Business and Civic Leadership. The 27th Annual Bernard Baruch Dinner will be held on April 13 at Cipriani 25 Broadway. Charlie Rose will serve as emcee at the fundraiser which will also honor Baruch College’s own Sandra Kahn Wasserman and her late husband, Bert W. Wasserman with the William and Anita Newman Medal for Philanthropy.

This annual benefit supports the Baruch College Fund, which helps students by providing grants and scholarships, subsidizing professorships, improving facilities, upgrading technology and expanding services.
