Chancellor James B. Milliken gave opening remarks at the 2016 American Energy & Manufacturing Competitiveness (AEMC) Northeast Regional Summit held May 12 at The City College of New York.
The AEMC Summit, which focuses on “Innovating for a Clean Energy Future,” is dedicated to building momentum around American innovation, progress and competitiveness in energy and manufacturing. The Summit aims to galvanize public and private sector leaders to take concrete actions to enhance U.S. productivity and prosperity – with a particular focus on regional success stories from the Northeast.
Speakers for the Summit include: Dr. David Danielson, Assistant Secretary of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, U.S. Department of Energy and The Honorable Deborah L. Wince-Smith, President & CEO, Council on Competitiveness. Keynote speaker for the Summit is: Richard L. Kauffman, Chairman of Energy & Finance for New York State.
