Event is free and open to the public with registration
NEW YORK, NY- June 8, 2016– The Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity at Baruch College will host a private town hall meeting on Monday, June 13 with the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the Private Company Council (PCC).
Participants across a wide variety of industries will have the opportunity to discuss private company accounting issues and share input on current and future agenda topics of both the FASB and the PCC.
Candace E. Wright, chair of the PCC, will lead the discussion. Other expected panelists are FASB members Daryl E. Buck and Lawrence W. Smith, and PCC membersSteven J. Brown and Lawrence E. Weinstock.
The event is free and open to the public; however, interested stakeholders shouldregister in advance. Participants will be eligible to receive up to three hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit offered by NYSSCPA at no cost. The town hall meeting will be recorded and available for audio playback on the FASB website, www.fasb.org.
