College Holds Phi Theta Kappa Induction Ceremony

On July 27, 29 Guttman students were inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges, at a special ceremony for Guttman’s Beta Phi Gamma chapter. PTK recognizes and encourages scholarship among community college students by providing opportunities to develop leadership and service, an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence. PTK membership is by invitation-only to students with grade point averages of 3.5 and higher.

Janine Harris, Career Strategist, led the event. Patricia Payano, Senior Career Advisor, was the Honorary Staff Inductee.
