The Credit Union Times has an immediate opening for an editorial intern to come in and assist with day-to-day editorial responsibilities. Intern will be responsible for proofreading print pages, light copy editing of real time web pages, and assisting in writing and editing feature pages.

The ideal candidate will be journalism major with excellent English language skills (writing and editing) and the ability to learn news-room procedures and AP style. They should be available to work a minimum of 15 hours a week with availability on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons desired. There is some flexibility available with work schedule.

The Credit Union Times is a business-to-business magazine about credit unions. The magazine offices are located in Hoboken, New Jersey (33-41 Newark Street, 2nd Floor) directly across the street from Hoboken Terminal. The office is easily accessible by the path and light rail.

This internship is for academic credit ONLY there is no financial compensation available.
