Seeking exceptionally talented and motivated interns to work with Wayne Barrett, an award-winning investigative journalist at The Nation Institute, located in New York City. A nonprofit media center, The Nation Institute was established to extend the reach of progressive ideas and strengthen the independent press.
• A working knowledge of US national politics and current events is preferred; journalism, communications, English, or other writing-intensive degree coursework, multimedia and social media experience will be given preference.
• The desired candidate will possess a strong work ethic as well as strong written, verbal, and communication skills
• Successful interns must be responsible, disciplined, and able to work well with fellow interns in a team setting
