January 12, 2009

The Society of American Law Teachers (SALT) honored Rhonda Copelon with the M. Shanara Gilbert Human Rights Award on January 9, 2009 at the Prado Balboa Park in San Diego, CA.

“It is thrilling that Rhonda is receiving this recognition by the progressive law teachers of her lifelong, tireless, groundbreaking work to advance human rights and make them work for women,” says International Women’s Human Rights (IWHR) law clinic alumni Cynthia Pierce (’06).
