Prof. Jenny Rivera Interviewed on PBS, NBC, CNN & Others

Amidst the excitement of Judge Sonia Sotomayor’s nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court, Jenny Rivera gave numerous interviews to the media about Judge Sotomayor and the significance of the nomination. Professor Rivera served as a law clerk to the judge in the Southern District of New York Federal Court from 1993-1994. Professor Rivera appeared on PBS’ News Hour with Gwen Ifill, NBC’s Nightly News with Brian Williams, CNN en Español, and NY1 Noticias to comment on Judge Sotomayor’s background and her abilities to represent a more diverse perspective while on the Supreme Court bench. During the hearings she also appeared on Democracy Now! with Amy Goodman and CBS News for an analysis of the hearings’ opening day. Prof. Jenny Rivera is the Founding Director of CUNY Law’s Center on Latino and Latina Rights and Equality (CLORE).
