Prof. Bratspies continues to bring the legal issues that intersect with human rights, the environment and culture to the forefront. In October she presented on the human right to a healthy environment at the University of Connecticut’s Human Rights in the USA Conference and moderated “Coral: Symbol, Substance and Significance” at the Initiatives in Art and Culture conference. The Initiative in Arts and Culture conference fosters an interdisciplinary approach to cultural preservation and the future of culture.
