Alums Meaghean Murphy (’04) and Aaron Amaral (’09) helped win a four week extension on the recent layoffs of 530 school aides across Manhattan and Brooklyn. As part of the Dept. of Education Employees Local 372 and District Council 37 legal team, they are preparing a new case in an effort to have the aides reinstated as soon as possible.
