CUNY Law’s Community Legal Resource Network Director Fred Rooney and Deputy Chief Administrative Judge for NYC Courts and Director of the NYS Courts Access to Justice Program Fern Fisher are in India speaking at Symbiosis Law School’s inaugural “Access to Justice, Legal Education and Understanding Incubator” conference. The United Nations Development Programme has listed CLRN’s collaboration with Symbiosis Law School as a joint initiative that should be funded to help the legal empowerment of the poor.
