CUNY Law graduate Carolyn Coffey (’04), an attorney at MFY Legal Services, is one of the attorneys representing clients whose federal lawsuit charges a law firm and two other entities with a scheme to frauduently obtain more than 100,000 default judgments in state courts in New York. Today’s front-page lead story in the New York Law Journal reports the court’s decision to allow the case to be heard.
