Community Lawyering Panel Featured

April 4, 2011

Last September, CLRN member attorneys in various fields of community practice comprised a panel moderated by Fred Rooney at the NY State Bar Association, as part of their Committee on Lawyers in Transition. The panel, entitled, “Public Interest Practice – How Individual Attorneys Can Make a Difference in People’s Lives,” organized by CUNY Law alum, Alessandra Scalise (’94) and comprised of alums Anne M. Crawley (’97), Janet-Michelle Cuevas (’97), Delvis Melendez (’96), Gabriel R. Munson (’03) and Katya Plotnik (’94). It was an inspiring presentation of how CLRN attorneys build valuable practices and practice day-to-day, serving varied constituents in need, and a terrific showcase for CUNY Law’s mission and CLRN’s work.
