Prof. Rivera Discusses Contexts of “Diversity”

Professor Jenny Rivera, Founder and Director of the Law School’s Center on Latino and Latina Rights and Equality (CLORE), recently spoke at the ABA’s annual meeting, Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity in the Profession, on “Facilitating Diversity: Similar Countries, Different Experiences; How Historical Context Informs How we Address Diversity Today in the U.S.” Professor Rivera serves on the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Commission on the Status of Latinas in the Legal Profession, and served as lead author of the Commission’s report, “La Voz de La Abogada Latina: Challenges and Rewards in Serving the Public Interest.”
